Jonathan Charles Silko, 27, loving and adoring husband of Violet Silko, died tragically Thursday morning, Feb. 13, 2014. Jonathan was born Sept. 29, 1986, to Maureen and David Silko, in Pittsburgh. With an infectious sense of humor and fun-loving personality, Jonathan was a friend to all. A proud Baylor Bear, Jonathan was an honors student of history. He was an active and beloved brother with the Baylor chapter of Brothers Under Christ. Jonathan's passion for learning and helping others along with his breathtaking intelligence led to his career in law. While students at Baylor University Law School, Jonathan met the love of his life, Violet. The two remained inseparable through law school and early legal careers, and were married in a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony in April 2012. Jonathan and Violet built a beautiful marriage centered on glorifying God through their actions. The couple resided in Pittsburgh, where they pursued successful law careers and became members of the Bible Chapel in Robinson. A perfectly ordained couple, the Silkos enjoyed volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, reading alongside one another and cheering on their Baylor Bears. Violet delighted in preparing special meals to brighten Jonathan's days. The couple cherished and complimented and served each other with hearts for the Lord. Jonathan leaves behind his treasured wife Violet. He is also survived by his mother and father, Maureen and David Silko, as well as his younger siblings, Emily and Christopher.
